Yesterday I flew from Seattle to Southern California. I found a change in the weather, it was much hotter. I also found a change in the political weather. Things seem to be a bit hotter where Rove is concerned. In an article yesterday by Adele M. Stan in The American Prospect, it seems that the Bush administration angered a very hard right official, he started an investigation into Rove’s politicization of the federal government.
It seems that Rove had distain for religious Bush partisans that he dubbed “the nuts”.
I guess that little slur didn’t sit too well. Also, Rove reportedly referred to Bush’s religious-right supporters as “out of control.” The angered official launched an investigation into the administration’s politicization of government agencies which landed at Rove’s door. Under Rove’s guidence, every federal agency that could be politicized had been. Because of such close and open investigation, I believe that Rove had no choice but to resign. He was pushed out!
It’s sad to realize that anywhere I go these days I just can’t get away from the Bush administration’s destruction of American values and in some cases the Constitution itself.
