The Iraqi government flip-flopped on Blackwater. After the killing of 10 Iraqis the Iraqi government ordered them to leave Iraq, then they recinded that order and now Iraq’s Interior Ministry has canceled Blackwater’s license to operate there.

Corporations like Blackwater do not operate under the same accountability as military units. These hired “security/mercenaries” are not military and are not bound by the Geneva Conventions. Being a “contrator” in Iraq is very profitable, no bidding either. How can our government use a hired army that answers to no one in Iraq?
