Hey fellows, we can’t “win” another countries civil war. To watch General Petraeus face the American public and once again say that we have to expect more US losses to give the Iraqi government time to get their act together makes me livid. Just what are we going to lose in Iraq beside young Americans? So Bush’s ego gets a dumping, so what. 14 Americans killed in two days this week and who knows how many Iraqi civilians. For a president so concerned about denying the use of discarded embryos for stem-cell research because of moral issues, where are his moral issues about the carnage in Iraq. His reasoning sure doesn’t make sense to me. I think that something is seriously scrambled in his brain…Joan Lough
