The latest deal being brokered between Bush and the Iraqi government is that combat troops will be out by October 2010 and everyone gone by 2013. To me that is totally unacceptable. Surely we can get the combat troops out sooner and leave technical troops working with the Iraqi security forces. We need more troops in Afghanistan so the war goes on. With the civil war still going on in Iraq why leave combat troops in harms way when it is known that military might hasn’t worked against the sects fighting each other in Iraq. This is a problem for Iraq to deal with. I’m so frustrated with these latest plans that I’d better sign off before I say something that would get me in trouble in case “Big Brother” monitors people like me.
