Since I’ll be spending Thingsgiving with family I will not write my blog tomorrow. One of the first things that I’m thankful for is having a family to spend the day with. I’m thankful that my grandson Alex, who was in the Marine Corps, made it home from Iraq all in one piece. He is out of the Marines and just started the University of Washington. I’m thankful that my five children and seven grandchildred are all healthy and happy. I’m thankful that, for the time being, things are going a little better in Iraq for the military and the Iraqi people. Let’s hope that it continues. I’m also thankful that I still have the energy to do community service, jobs that give more meaning to my life. I’ll be back to my ranting and raving on Friday but it’s nice to pause and think about all the good things that I have in my life.
