Tonight the Republican forum is in Durham, N.H. and things are starting to get down and dirty. This also applies to the Democratic debates. The little digs and innuendos really spoil the debates for me but that’s just my feeling. Fox media will cover tonight’s event and I think I’ll forgo watching and read about the results. I seem to be able to stomach the written word rather than watching it.

I just love all the promises that rarely come about, just as the lack of action from Democrats after the ’06 elections. In my opinion, most politicians are full of hot air and tell people what they think they want to hear. This race started much earlier than usual and that means that we are faced with a much longer period of time to be exposed to all that hot air. Fred Thompson isn’t going to be there but will run an ad during the debate, announcing that he is indeed a candidate.
What kind of strategy is that?
