After hearing Nader’s interview on “Meet the Press”, I can’t consider him a threat to the Democratic candidates. He sure didn’t pull any punches on his feelings about Obama and Clinton, didn’t have a single nice word for either one. I think that he’ll have a hard time getting on any ballots or joining a debate as he’ll have to fight state-by-state ballot-access battles. I do have to agree with him about spinelessness in the Democratic party but not necessarily the two top candidates. I do wonder about Obama’s record in the Senate which didn’t seem too spectacular to me. After what the Republicans have done to our country I somehow feel that he won’t “sap crucial votes”, a Republican quote, because I’m counting on the general election not being that close.
