I have been a patriot since early childhood. As a child I visited and entertained veterans from WWI and the Spanish American war, at a Veterans Hospital in California, with members of the VFW. During WWII, as a teenager I worked 500 hours at the Hollywood Canteen. I’ve served in the Marine Corps and the Peace Corps. Sad to say that I’ve reached a point where I am ashamed of my country’s policies. We have an administration that has turned me and most of the world against the US. Each day some new and shameful act emanates from the White House. We have an administration who, for the most part, believe that they are above the law and have to answer to no one. I want my beloved America back…Joan Lough
