In light of the FBI finding 14 of 17 shooting inciudents by Blackwater Security, were not justified, it should be obvious that these gun happy mercenaries need to be pulled out of Iraq. Our brave military only have each other to watch their backs. The top government officials who need to be “guarded” and were probably responsible for our being in Iraq in the first place, need to take their chances and not spend billions of taxpayer money for protection. Blackwater security contractors were hired by the State Department to protect U.S. diplomats. If things on the ground are still so out of control, as to need to hire a private army, then the surge is not doing what it was supposed to do.

The FBI is still interviewing key Blackwater personnel involved in the shootings. The Iraqi people and government are not happy with the actions of the so called security companies. In my opinion, they are not there to run roughshod over civilians and shoot without provocation. I find it hard to believe that these yahoos have free reign and haven’t been held accountable for their actions and have been offered limited immunity.
