I have a lot of questions in my mind about George Tenet. We are all aware of the flawed intelligence but I do believe Tenet’s assertion that the Bush Administration had decided to go to war no matter what. When Tenet’s “slam dunk†comment was made, the President already had deployment orders in force. I truly believe that VP Cheney bent the truth about how “slam dunk†was used to justify the plans to go to war and how easy it would be, WMD’s or not, with no thoughts about the repercussions of such an act or any thought about a possible exit strategy.
Because of all the stories of lying and corruption in the Bush Administration coming out, how can anyone believe anything that this Administration utters. I look forward to seeing Tenet on 60 Minutes tonight and judging for myself what he has to say and how he says it…Joan Lough
