The Bushies continue to claim the war is going well. A ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee took Senator Reid to task for saying the war “is lost†because it will have a demoralizing effect on our troops. What can be more demoralizing to the troops than watching their buddies being killed right and left as the killings escalate, in this war without an end? The UN released a report with the grim reality about the deteriorating environment in Iraq. I’m still waiting to hear what strides that we are making in this conflict. Situations that have lessened in Baghdad, have moved to the surrounding areas.
The fear tactics that the Bush Administration uses, is now being used by Giuliani in his presidential bid. Hey Rudy, people are not buying that tactic from George and I’ve a good idea that it’s not going to work for you either. Obama thinks that Giuliani has reached a new political low with that kind of politicking. It sure seems that Giuliani has done a political about face recently.
Every day new car bombings give me plenty to rant about. Let’s get a timetable for troop withdrawl signed, George…Joan Lough
