Is Bush anti science? 64% of Americans have no moral issue with stem-cell research. This is the second time that Bush has vetoed a stem-cell bill. Tony Snow said the veto is an attempt to respect people’s conscience on this issue. Horsefeathers! Scientists want to use discarded fertility bank embryos. In my opinion, Bush wants to cater to the religious right. I, for one, don’t want someone elses moral beliefs pushed down my throat. One comment from a republican “we as a society should remain committed to upholding the dignity of every human life” which leads me to wonder how they condone what is going on in Iraq, an unprovoked war…Joan Lough
