The eight orphanages in Baghdad are full to overflowing. Due to curtural and religious norms, there is little chance that any will be adopted. Many do not attend school and are out on the streets selling incense and perfume. Even the youngest shun children of a different sect than theirs. Socialists see these orphanages as breeding grounds for future insurgents. The Iraqi government does little for them. This is another negative that this war has done to Iraq. I for one, do not want my country to be responsible for the furthering of this deplorable situation. Mr. President let’s get out of Iraq. Haven’t you already done enough to the Iraqi people? Things are being done to them, not for them…joan Lough
