Shuck Bush

The only April Fool that I know is George W. Bush. Now, that was a snide comment but then, I’m a nasty old lady. I fully realize that our Lame Duck president is on his way out, but just not soon enough for me. The wheels turn slowly in DC and in the meanwhile we are forced to watch the chaos in Baghdad and the hundreds of people who continue to be slaughtered. My feeble chant of “Bring the troops home”, goes unnoticed.

I do recommend that you read an interview of Matthew Dowd, ex-aide of GW, by New York Times reporter Jim Rutenberg, in today’s issue. It’s a good example of another Republican distancing himself from President Bush. I’m so discouraged by the damage done to my beloved country by the current Administration, that my only outlet seems to be, to read as much as possible about what is going on around the world and to write a little something every day to let off steam, and hopefully say…Shuck Bush!
