Gonzales is on the way out! Remember “The Farmer in the Dell”? The last line is “the cheese stands alone” and in the line before, who picks the cheese, well the rat does. Could the rat be Cheney? I’m beginning to think that it’s very lonely at the top. Come to think of it, Bush does have his ego to keep him company.
With Gonzales going, thank goodness, I forsee the Democrats, like a dog with a bone, pushing the investigation into his misdeeds and lying under oath. Bush dumped Gonzales because he is very concerned about his legacy to history. Somehow I don’t see a “great” legacy left behind by GW.
