I would fight tooth and nail to defend freedom of speech, a freedom that many people in the world do not have. I believe that with that freedom comes responsibllity. A handful of political commentators, in both political parties, in my opinion, sorely abuse that freedom. The vicious garbage that spews out of their mouths puts shame to their position. Ann Coulter is a very vocal writer that really rubs me the wrong way. She is one ice cold human being. To her everything is fair game. It’s really too bad that the hurtful things that she says, draws such a following. I admire Elizabeth Edwards for facing that evil tongued woman on a recent live telacast (I am really soured on the Chris Matthews Show after that interview). I may be predjuced but I think that Ann lost that one and showed the kind of person that she is. I know that she is not paid to be nice but she could at least show some human elements…Joan Lough
