The President of Iran seems to be in a world of make believe. First he denies that the Holocaust ever happened and now he tells the student body at Columbia that there are no homosexuals in Iran. About 10 percent of the earth’s population are homosexual so how did Iran miss their share? If his thinking is this flawed, he is a bigger threat to the world than I first believed. Seems like he lives with his head in the sand. He sure as heck isn’t stupid so I wonder how much of what he says he really believes and if what he says is a tactic of some sort. His hard-line approach to uranium conversion is worrisome. There are rumors that there have been moves inside Iran to rein in the president. He will speak at the UN tomorrow.

Ahmadinejad’s time on stage at Columbia was very confrontational and there was a lot of anger that he was allowed to speak there. It is unknown if he will visit the site of the World Trade Center against the denial by the New York police to allow the visit because of “security” reasons.
