I spent the day watching almost non-stop coverage of the worst mass shooting in American history. A convocation was a start to acknowledge the terrible event. All the facts are still to be known and some of the deceased still need to be identified. It’s hard to comprehend just what would drive a person to commit such a henous crime. My heart goes out to the families and friends of those killed and also to the students of Virginia Tech who must go on with the memories of that terrible day. It will take a long, long time to heal…Joan Lough
