I have no respect for the gutless Democrats who voted for the bill to fund the iraq war thru September. Very few have the intestinal fortitude to say “no more money for this war”. Living in the State of Washington I follow very closely, the death toll for the Striker Brigade from Fort Lewis. Seven gone so far for June. This is just one Army base! May, saw the largest loss of life since the war began. I see no signs of “surge” success. Many of our military personnel are being killed by Iraqis that they work side by side with during the day, as the Iraqi army and police have been infiltrated by insurgents. What do we do except count and weap thru September? Then what? I for one will continue my tirade against the needless loss of life…Joan Lough
